As other reviewers have pointed out, these little spring clips only fit wood about 1/2 inch thick. And they're just spring clips, so they can't exert much holding power. But within their limits they are good. I like to make little boxes out of 1/4" thick wood and they're good for keeping the corners straight while the glue dries. To compress the joint I use strips of tape stretched taut. So these things are fine until then Don't expect more than what they were made for.
