Review on CERRXIAN Ethernet Protector Protection Suppressor by Bobby Valadez

Connected for a few weeks. Connected to a small PoE PTZ camera on the tower. The tower is grounded and bonded, and all coax cables on the tower are routed to allow for surge arrestors in the base. The camera accidentally stopped working on a clear/sunny day. Opened up the case that housed this arrester and the PoE cable smoked at the connector on the outlet side of the arrester chamber. I'm glad I was able to catch it when it shorted out and hopefully nothing else will be damaged if I replace it with something better. Wouldn't recommend it. Potential fire hazard if you are not present during the short circuit.
