I have 3 Sony A series cameras, A6300, A7RII and newer A7RIII. I bought two SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-1 cards last year and have found that neither of them are recognized by my A7III, although they both work well with my other cameras. Found that my problem is fairly common with the A7III camera and these particular cards, but only with newer cards (circa 2018 and 2019). I have several of these cards from a few years ago that work well with the camera. Later edit: I just installed firmware update 2.1 on my A7III and the camera now recognizes the SanDisk Extreme Pro card. One of my old ones of these cards that I used in the A7III just fell apart when I tried to insert it into the camera, the outer case cracked and the "chip" fell out. long enough to store the photos, but that's the end for this card. All my old cameras used CF cards. They're slightly larger than SDXC cards, but much more reliable. up to 20 years of shooting with them.
