Does NOT work as expected.
So far so good. I have a towel rail from these guys that works great. As long as the soap dish is stable. I will post changes. The surface MUST be flat, smooth and clean (e.g. glass). UPDATED: AUGUST 8, 2018; after a few weeks of normal operation, the suction was gone and the plate fell off. I assume it was the dampness from the shower. The towel holder is still ok after a few years. But the soap dish is a clear loss. Get something that actually attaches to the shower rod if not the wall. The Grohe plate works great.
