Compared to a full face snorkel mask this is definitely a more traditional mask that I find much more comfortable to wear. Now I wear it by the sea and in my pool and no matter where I wear it it's really comfortable. The problem I've found with full face masks is that they started blocking some of my views, not to mention eventually water leaked out of the mouth area. Once these areas are damaged, the mask is unusable. I don't have to worry about that with this mask as I don't have a mouth area, just my eyes and nose. I can breathe deeply on the water surface. When I dive, there is a ball in the part of the snorkel that prevents water from entering. As mentioned, whether I'm using it in pool water or salt water, this mask allows me to see anything and everything clearly. . It's also very easy to clean when needed.
