I haven't had a bread machine for several years. Speaking of a promotion for the new Zojirushi Virtuoso, I've decided it's time to get back to baking bread. I ordered a new knife set and a PATANTA Bamboo bread slicer. I used to always use a slicer, but that was many years ago. The first loaf of bread came out of the machine and I was ready to cut it. What a disappointment. Above all. it was a bit wavy and difficult to hold together to cut, and worse, it didn't cut all the way through the bottom crust. I won't return it because it's too much hassle. I will moan and groan every time I use it until my husband says please buy a new food slicer.
