Be ready to replace them immediately.
I have just replaced the filters in my machine from a kit I bought a year ago and never opened. The taste of the water was ok before the change. After the replacement, the taste became slightly sour, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth. I flushed the system for at least 5 minutes. I just received these two sets so I quickly changed the filters again. Taste is good now. Just goes to show that you can just end up with a bad set of filters. They are too expensive to change immediately. Beware.
