It warmed me a lot, even too much. I bought it for outdoors. I wanted something that would keep me warm but have style and wouldn't make me look like a serial killer (think balaclava). It was stylish and I had no problem freezing in it. At one point I had to think about taking it off because it was so warm, which was actually a problem as you could easily sweat in it and you can imagine the combination of sweat and cold going. The price is absolutely worth what you get. Several reviewers criticize them for not being able to spell their tag correctly. Don't be one of those people. This is clearly intentional and a joke. No one accidentally confuses all the letters into an unintelligible word.
