Review on Play Circle Battat Hairdressing Accessories by Glenn Rodgers

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Adorable, hair-filled

My 4 year old granddaughter loves what she calls her "Salon Kit". Barber dads don't play a big role in her play and I think most of them are out of place now. But she loves to style her "doll head" and her friends hair, as well as some of her full length dolls, and she came to me with her hairbrush and mirror. She and her friend (also 4 years old) love playing with multiple dolls and each other's hair in the salon. They like to play with non-working (thank goodness) curling irons and hair dryers. I actually think the hair dryer is noisy (with batteries?) but they use it without batteries and make their own salon noises. Some sets are more whimsical, with more detail, makeup, etc. But these little girls got excited about less simple things, using their sounds, imagination, and the collaboration of multiple dolls.
