Review on Game console Sony PlayStation 4 500 GB HDD, black by Jnis Muinieks ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

No complaints, I recommend to buy.

For the system, there aren't many exclusive games that are good. I only truly enjoyed Bloodborne for two years, and to a lesser extent Order 1886, Knack, Infamous Second Son, and Drive Club. Because of the internal hard disk's small size, I experienced braking when there was less than 100GB of free space on it, for instance when moving saves to a network or USB flash drive. Therefore, if you have the means, you should get a model with 1TB. On the console, you can use a keyboard and mouse to play games, although most of them require a costly adapter. There are other possibilities, such as CronusMax, TitanOne, and XIM4. The console contains a web browser, and you can watch movies and listen to music online. It appears that external USB drives can play content. However, we must keep in mind that all of this is much more comfortable on a computer and does not function with all file formats. I'll say this in general: buying a console currently only makes sense if you have discovered some kind of exclusive on it, without which life is not enjoyable. Or, if you are extremely affluent, purchasing a new piece of equipment for your collection and then paying ongoing costs in the tens of thousands of dollars is a trivial matter for you. Otherwise, bringing a gaming computer is much preferable. The average gaming system unit will cost no more than $30,000 with Core i3 + 8GB + GeForce 750 2GB (and even less with AMD), and there will be significant game cost savings in addition to much more capability.

Pros
  • The device's overall quality is excellent, and it has been operating flawlessly for about two years. Very convenient gamepad with headphone and headset jacks. Unlike the previous model, you can use any smartphone charger to charge the gamepad instead of having to purchase a specialized pricey charger.
Cons
  • Both the internal fans and the disk drive on the console produce noise when it is in use. Overall, there is substantially more noise compared to, say, an updated gaming PC or an older PS3 Slim. The gamepad's battery life is not very long. Online gaming is pricey and requires money.
