I'll say this in general: buying a console currently only makes sense if you have discovered some kind of exclusive on it, without which life is not enjoyable. Or, if you are extremely affluent, purchasing a new piece of equipment for your collection and then paying ongoing costs in the tens of thousands of dollars is a trivial matter for you. Otherwise, bringing a gaming computer is much preferable. The average gaming system unit will cost no more than $30,000 with Core i3 + 8GB + GeForce 750 2GB (and even less with AMD), and there will be significant game cost savings in addition to much more capability.
