Stinks despite claims to the contrary
Despite claims to the contrary, this rope stinks; Smells of diesel fuel and insecticides. couldn't get rid of the smell. NOT suitable for cats. In fact, NO manila rope is suitable for cats (although manila rope is often mistakenly referred to as "hemp", it is NOT made from hemp fibre), as some nasty petroleum product is ALWAYS used in the manufacture of manila rope. Only natural sisal fiber rope is suitable for cats. Also, this rope was not twisted and untwisted too easily. I sent it back for a refund.
- Great rope for DIY projects, you can use it to make a cat scratching post, bed swing, and protect wood, stair railings, water pipes, balcony railings, any indoor or outdoor uses.
