The material was fine. No problem with smell
Too small! Order 1 (or 2) sizes larger than usual. The material was fine. No problem with odor/smell. But the belt was shorter than other belts of the same "size" that I have. I had to return and reorder 1 size up (seller asked no questions). The new belt is good.
