Although the instructions show a wrench, the text says to hand tighten only. The seat was very loose, although I tried to tighten it by hand. I used a wrench and wish I had seen all the pictures posted with this article. The tip of the screw came off clean. I feel like I'm stuck in a difficult place. Tighten the seat by hand or try to tighten it with a tool and the bolt will break. I won't buy this again. I've given up many toilet seats over the years. This is my most disappointing experience.
