I love Vera Bradley and this crossbody bag makes those bags want me. That's an incredibly cute idea. Basically, VB took two bracelets and put them together to make a delightful (and durable) handbag that can be worn either as a bracelet (as a standalone) or with both bracelets together to make a lightweight handbag. They can be easily attached to each other with the snaps at the end of the shoulder strap or wrist strap. That's the good part. Cons and why I only gave three stars? Shoulder strap is too long, 25 1/2 inches high. Also, if they call it "Custom" then why don't we as a customer have a choice of which two straps we want? along with a choice of wrist and shoulder straps to fit the way we want? I understand the choice will be limited as they have to place magnets along the bottom of each bracelet so they attach to the bottom, but at the moment I have a few colors to choose from and I'd love to get another set (the ones now goes with others I wouldn't choose). For the price, that's a small consideration VB could make. Number three. Because they are exactly the same style if you attach two zippers at the top opposite (see attached picture). So when you put them together, there is an inconvenience when one zipper faces the front and the other faces the back - it's just weird. They claim that the entire ensemble is RFID. and don't prove it one way or the other (like any other product claiming to be RFID). I wish there was an easy way to get proof of this statement. I'd like to take this with me on our upcoming cruise, but not knowing if it's actually RFID protected will give me food for thought (and worry) during our trip. Follow the measurements. Know what your intentions are with these magnetic bracelets. They are perfect for me but I'm trying to reduce the size of my wallet. They puff up easily.
