The bag didn't want to be washed off

Not bad, just throw them in the toilet and flush. Although I recommend dissolving the pack in water a bit before rinsing to help it dissolve. The first few times I used them they wouldn't wash off the first time. I'm not sure how well they work so after a few months I used a house brand that I know works well just to make sure the little pouch isn't as good as the box brand.
