These earbuds are very good. They're comfortable (more so than silicone) and don't seem to affect sound quality at all; They form a good seal in your ear to block out some outside noise, which can also stand out some noise like bass. The problem for me is how dirty they get and how easily they tear. Yes, I clean my ears, but they seem predisposed to picking things up in them. As for the tears, I've been through quite a few in a month, I don't know what happened, but they just started tearing. Luckily I have 3 packs and the second set seems to last longer. The instructions state that the tips should be "rolled up" or pinched before inserting them into the ear. That's exactly what I did by simply putting them in my ear. will not make your headphones sound good and cause pain. But I think the rotation is what tears them down. It makes sense that they can be replaced, but I think they will last a little longer since $40 a year for ear tips seems excessive and I've never had to replace silicone ear tips.
