Reliable pneumatic cutting tool. Mainly made of metal with a rubberized finish, this simple tool has a lot going for it. It has a built in silencer so it's not very loud, the disc is easy to change with the tools provided and there is a forward/reverse switch which I wasn't expecting but could be useful for certain materials. I'm left-handed, so I hold the tool in my other hand like most users do, and the reverse switch basically makes this tool two-handed. I'm sure Craftsman has had its ups and downs over the years. It used to be excellent, but eventually more and more items were made outside of the US and the quality dropped. They seem to be really improving their air tools lately and although they are not made in the States they have a much better build quality than the tools that came out a few years ago and I am particularly impressed with this cutting tool. It's heavy, comfortable to use and so far very reliable for me. I cut some metal tubing and a small piece of elbow and it works very well. You can force the tool to stop if you're cutting too aggressively, or maybe my air pressure isn't strong enough, but it's more than powerful enough for cutting pipe, sheet metal, etc., and its design is compact enough to fit in on the fairly limited Space. .
