Updated 12/02/2012. One of the locks broke and Revane replaced the record player, it was quick and easy. I decided to get a replacement and be very careful with the locks because I love it so much. I did a lot of research before ordering this salad bowl and I am very happy with it. I love that the lid can be disassembled for thorough cleaning and feels well made and sturdy. I used the "pull cord" type and I like this grip much better. I also like the opening at the top that allows you to pour out water and add dressing without opening it. I wanted to soak stuff and bought a "flow" spinner because it wouldn't let it and it was so small. This spinner goes great with my homemade kale and is big enough for a LARGE salad. It also works well for storage and as an everyday serving platter. I believe I will eat more products because they are very convenient and easy to use. This model doesn't have a stop button, so this function doesn't bother me anyway.
