Review on 🎨 Creative Fun: Melissa & Doug Coloring Painting Animal Set by Paul Powell

I love it! My 2 year old loves it too! She never gets bored! Always tells me she wanted flowers! Helps my toddler practice holding something to draw/write with. Love the fact that it doesn't get messy and can be reused! Super perfect for younger toddlers. I use a hair dryer to dry it faster because my little one wants to color again ^^. It's also travel friendly! However, it has some minor flaws. My little girl just turned 2 and can't hold the pen properly, she was dying to draw with it and she scratched the pages with the pen that came with the kit, the top layer of the pages was scratched and the interior paint showed thereon. Luckily I was able to teach my little toddler how to draw properly ^^. So it is recommended for a possibly 3 year old toddler. But I always like to teach my little one early and luckily for me she listens and quickly learns not to paint too roughly. While it's travel friendly as it ties everything together, I find that the pen slot in the middle of the book makes it too bulky and takes up a lot of space. The handle is easy to open and water is easy to spill. I usually only fill the pen 1/4 full so there isn't too much water in it if she spills it. Aside from being easily scratched if used too roughly, being too chunky and the handle opening easily, I don't think there's much to complain about. I still give this book 5 stars because it gives my little one a lot of joy and challenges me because there is no confusion of colors in it! A highly recommended educational toy for your first students ^^
