My wife said the air improved immediately after I installed it in my 13 year old Wrangler. Coincidentally, I was just taking a shower, but I don't think that had anything to do with it. When I first pulled out the glove box to "replace" the cabin air filter, I thought the online documentation was wrong because there was no air in there. replacement filter. Am I looking in the wrong place? nope Apparently they only put cabin air filters on expensive Wranglers like the Rubicon and Sahara. My humble Sport was shipped without a cabin filter. However. Now I'm more sophisticated (at least as far as the cabin air filter in my Wrangler is concerned). Also, you can't win for $9. Installation is easy and requires no tools, just the ambition and patience to remove (and reinsert) the glove box. Went to Valvoline this morning and found that they charge $49.99 to replace the cabin air filter. $49.99! What a rip off! I'm glad I'm cheap. I mean comfortably. Yes.
