Sized up one size and they fit fine. Pockets are copiously sized and many. Material is not stiff and actually seems to resist wrinkling, as if I cared about neatly pressed shorts! But, here in Georgia, very lightweight clothes are needed in summer so I wouldn't wear these during the super hot time of year. I'd say Sept through June will be the time I can use these which is fine with me. They've been washed about four times and the seams and hems are holding up fine. There are no loose threads or other issues. I just ordered a 2nd pair and love having so many options for color.
