I bought my son the 60 piece Terra Jungle World set and it was fantastic. Apart from the lion and lioness there was no repeat in the animal species and all the paintwork was top notch, so I knew Sea World and Prehistoric World were the next 60 piece sets. First I chose Sea World and in general. It's a good range of toys but when you compare it to the jungle world it's a bit of a shame. Let's start with at least 50% of the 60 pieces being green and red coral. Also, real sea creatures aren't that durable or even engineered - some of them are 2 parts joined together in the middle. Paintwork ranges from mediocre to fairly poor, especially on dolphins and sharks, which brings me to my biggest issue: lack of variety (I know I'm sick of the term too, but it applies here). It's not that the oceans lack variety, but for some reason this set includes 11 sharks, 3 pairs of same breed, 3 whales, 2 of same breed and 3 killer whales, with only size being variable. You will also receive 1 manta ray, 1 squid, 1 sea turtle, 1 eel, 1 lobster, 1 sea lion, 1 seal, 1 dolphin and 1 porpoise and 5 sea plants/color corals. Point. Jungle World has set the bar high. Let's hope Sea World hits rock bottom and Prehistoric World either exceeds expectations or lands somewhere in between. I don't hate the sea world. It's better than most sets out there but I expected more. I hope this helps you decide.
