Is your shower curtain made of two separate components that you twist apart to put tension on the ends of the rod? Then there is probably a sort of lip in the middle where one component meets the other. I found that these rings would get stuck on that lip -- not permanently, but just enough that the curtain would not slide smoothly. Rather annoying!I bought these because I wanted something that would never rust. After being disappointed with these, my wife found "MAYTEX Heavy Duty Plastic Roller Glide Shower Rings" and bough them for half the price. They work much better than these ones do.Also, note that if you return these, you have to pay the return shipping, which for me was 83 cents less than what I paid. So I only recovered 83 cents by returning them. In other words, they basically were not returnable. I wish I had known that ahead of time.
