This starter is a replacement for a tradesman lawn mower with a Kohler CV460 engine, it was a good engine. I bought the mower on October 8th 2002, I hope this new starter will last as many years. Anyway after looking at many starters I settled on this one because it had a 1 year guarantee, it was a bit more money but I hope it's worth it. I ordered the part on 05/10/16 in the afternoon, the next morning I got an email that it had been shipped. The postman came to the door today with a piece. It was a regular delivery, I didn't have a two day delivery or anything like that. The new starter weighed more than the old one, it's heavier and definitely made the engine rev a lot faster than the old one. Started and switched off about 4 times in a 30 minute drive, works great. Connected straight away with no problems. The price is way better than Sears, they wanted $181 for the starter. Another parts store near my house told me I could get a Rareelectrical for $212.
