A fun and amusing gadget, but in comparison to a gopro, it is not even close to being a "workhorse" in any sense. What a cool device for a hipster to have for taking a fantastic selfie with their mates. Many advantages: 1. A high-quality video recording (Dynamic range, detail) 2. A user-friendly video editing program in which everything can be seen clearly and is kept to a minimum of complexity. 3. Easily portable and comfortable in the hand. Having these drawbacks: 1. When recording a video, the battery only lasts for about seven minutes before it dies. It turned out that the only way to use it was in conjunction with a power bank, which is obviously a highly annoying requirement for an action camera. 2. You have to handle and store the camera with extreme caution because the lenses extend beyond the body of the camera. When you set the camera down, you have to place it directly on the table with the lens, which means you need some sort of protection in case the camera falls. 3. The video demonstrates the gluing of "hemispheres," as well as the blurring of the image at this particular location. It's possible that performing the calibration was essential; I just didn't see why. 4. When you export a spherical video to YouTube, you are unable to specify the "front" where the viewer is looking. This is probably a limitation of the spherical video format as a whole, but it is still a limitation nonetheless.
