Can't say this end is perfect for everything. However, since it's quite heavy, it doesn't require much pressure to touch. It glides easily (easier than rubber tips) so it's great for thicker writing, nonograms, etc. Not as good for more precise touches (rubber tip pens are better - they tend to "stick" more) because of the ease of glide, but I don't expect it to work once for many different applications. I'm just sure I won't go back to the original ending.
