Subaru Crosstrek 2019

Installed on my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. This created a literal difference between day and night when driving at night. They light up the road very well. Even in the rain they performed well! Installation was easy with a few complications. The first problem is that the light "floats" in the mount, allowing you to focus the beam. While this is a great idea, it also makes installing lightbulbs more difficult. I had to first remove and install the base from the lamp and then insert the lamp into the bracket. Not such a big deal for Subaru, but if you're working with limited space it can cause problems. The fan is really quiet, so quiet that I'm not sure if it's working until I touch it with my hand and feel it. air movement. I have installed many LED headlights and they are by far the quietest and "most stable". There is no flicker which I associate more with budget LED conversions. A side note on LEDs in general. If you live in an area where it snows, they don't generate heat like regular incandescent bulbs and therefore won't melt snow and ice from your headlights. I have renewed over 50 LED kits and read thousands of reviews, this is never mentioned. That hasn't changed my mind about switching everything I own to LED, it's just another consideration and one more thing to keep in mind, especially in the winter.

Pros
  • The thickness of the radiator interface of these LED bulbs is only 1.6mm, which makes the light angle more focused. The aluminum LED adapter can be continuously rotated to adjust the beam pattern. Stable output, no flickering, no dark spots or shadow areas.
Cons
  • Weight
