I bought this before the first review was posted which I don't usually do. I like that it's stainless steel and not plastic. The cutting part works well and measures exactly 5 inches! The material is thin but I tried it on the first day I received it last week and that's when the problem started. I made 16 empanadas and the handles came off halfway through. I had to constantly tighten the screws on the handles. This was very frustrating the first time! I would return the item if I hadn't already used it. I'll just keep using it as a cutter but using it as a press is too frustrating as the handles won't work if they're loose! Sorry but I do not recommend this product.
