Favorite Akebono brake pads from my last car where I used them in combination with OEM Brembo blank rotors on a 1999 Nissan Maxima 5 speed. I also bought Akebono pads for my other car, a 2004 Infiniti I-35 with an automatic transmission. Both cars have Infiniti 17-inch OEM wheels with I-35 on the original wheels, while the Maxima had a G-35. Surprisingly, the discs with these pads didn't pick up nearly as much brake dust as the other 2 cars in my house that use original OEM pads. Due to the small amount of dust that accumulated on these pads, despite the fact that the discs weren't constantly cleaned, it was fairly easy to wash it off the discs without corroding the metal surface of the discs. I just bought this kit to replace the front brake pads on my 2004 Honda Accord 4cyl with automatic transmission. As always these pads are value for money, they are quiet and very effective in rainy weather. Absolutely excellent in normal weather conditions. Even though Honda's original OEM factory pads have worn down to the point where the metal tab of the low pad indicator scratched the rotors, I was able to fit them without having to upgrade the rotors and they still work perfectly need to replace the factory pads, which either originally came with the car when you bought it.
