This design is the best available for measuring brake pad thickness on a vehicle.
I use nothing else when checking my car's brakes. The tool is so easy to use and read that anyone can do it the first time. I bought mine in Europe because they just weren't available in the US. and have been using it for a number of years now. It's just the perfect tool for the job. So glad to see JTC has them now. I will order the rest of the mechanics.
