Fail. not worth it: shower curtain rods
it took over 10 minutes to remove the manufacturing plastic from the rod. The bar itself was not strong, a very light weight of thin metal could be felt. Shaft is not spring loaded. The rod had to be rotated/pulled to the correct length. The rod could not bear the weight of the curtain. The whole setup fell to the ground while I was still attaching the curtain to the pole. After several attempts to hold the rod up I gave up. It's a total failure on this rod and not worth all the hassle of installing a basic shower curtain.
