I really like these. A sophisticated turtle with a matte finish looks more upscale in my opinion. Very easy to wear and my giant head is not too big for her. The spring works fine. Mine came in a sturdier black pouch that looked more like scuba gear than silk. I bought a second pair. Update: I still like them a lot. I will buy a few more. I'm still on the first pair but I've already gotten used to the frames. So light on your head. The lens was not scratched, although I only use the case when I put it in my backpack. At home they just lie on the table. Updated again: I still like them a lot and get compliments on them often. They are sharper than my other inexpensive readers and the lenses also seem to resist scratches better than others. Eventually they got a few scratches. Now I wear them every day as I get older and own them. I think they're pretty durable - I've dropped them on the floor many times.
