Great idea and design. They throw tons of snow and ice shards exactly where you need them. They actually muffle the noise in the tunnel with all the snow. I have a 2006 Yamaha RS Venture with a 144" x 15" x 1.5" track and 23,700 miles. I can't remember the last time I changed the foils. From time to time I smelled them Sliding down the tough virgin groomed trails.This product allows me to get up early and enjoy flat trails without sacrificing my slides or worrying about overheating.They are easy to install and mine hangs right off the rails when they do not to be used. My venture doesn't have any part of the rail that is two" above the rail so I had to mount them at a slight angle rather than straight down as the manufacturer recommends. They still work great, and will be next year I will make a riser for the mounts Make sure you keep them elevated when crossing gravel or dirt roads as I am sure they will work just as well if you have this on throw your stretch.
