Review on Capri Tools 20 245 Torque Wrench by Todd Stovall

This key worked right out of the box. I've tested various torque settings on the lug nuts and it seems to be right where it should be. The only thing is that it is extremely difficult to set the maximum torque in it. There is a distinct crunch as you turn the crank to the maximum position, which becomes progressively more difficult as you approach 150 ft/lbs. I'm not sure why that is, but I'm a little hesitant to believe in this tool. It also came from the factory with no lubrication on the ratchet component. Not at all! I would suspect this was an oversight by the person assembling the instrument. Although, as another reviewer noted, there was no lube on it either, it's possible that this company doesn't lubricate the tools during assembly, which is unacceptable. I will update when a resolution to these issues is reached.
