Review on πŸš€ LAUNCH OBD2 Scanner CRP129E 2021: New Diagnostic Tool with WiFi, Android 7.0, and Free Updates by Carlos Jass

Ease of use: code readers and scan tools

I was skeptical at first after reading some harsh reviews of this product. I wanted an OBD2 box as my 2015 Ram 1500 was out of warranty and the infamous check engine light came on. I took my truck to the dealer where they charged me $125 to diagnose the check engine light and then told me the fault was a $450 part (fuel sensor with fuel rail). Immediately after this event, the check engine light came on in another car in the house (Volvo 2012). It cost an additional $125 to diagnose the issue that led to the oxygen sensor replacement. Eventually I decided it was time to get into these scanners since I do most of the repairs myself. After much deliberation (between Foxwell NT644 Elite and Launch CRP 129E) I ordered Launch CRP 129E. I think some of the other reviews mentioning update issues might be due to unstable wifi as mine updated very quickly. I then experimented with this by hooking up to my truck, a 2016 Jeep Cherokee and a 2012 Volvo S60. The tool quickly connected to each vehicle automatically and provided a diagnostic report as shown in the image. I also played around with other sections like the ABS and the device worked quickly and satisfactorily. Now I want to hook it up to every car in the area because I want to see more of its capabilities. At the moment I am very happy with the device and I recommend buying it to anyone who wants to find a fault in an OBD2 scanner. Aloha!
