When we adopted our dog he was covered in fleas and had chewed all his fur off on his bottom half. We've had him about a year and a half now and he still doesn't have any hair on the base of his tail. He has extremely sensitive skin to the point where he gets cytopoint injections every month to help them with itchiness.But he was still scratching and he ended up getting a horrible hot spot next to his ear. So we bought the first one for him in November and he's been wearing it ever since. It's comfortable enough that he can wear it long-term. We throw it in the washer and it seems to do fine in the washing machine.I'm getting him a second one now so we can swap them out and have one on him while the other one's in the washing machine.We had tried an inflatable collar but he just chewed it to pieces.This collar has truly made his life better.
