Disadvantages: Although the assembly is easy, the labor required is considerable because the Allen key provided is very small. Difficult to apply pressure and gain enough force to drive screws into tight holes. Your fingers will complain. Spotting is pretty shoddy. Many of the joints are not 100% stained and show natural wood that really stands out against the dark stain. The construction is light and somewhat fragile. It can easily break if dropped or used for anything other than shoes. The finish is just a coat of paint on softwood. So it will probably wear out in the future. Pros: It's attractive and designed with due attention to size. In other words, form and function are perfectly combined in its design. It installs quickly and can be assembled without instructions. Just apologize to your fingers later. It's cheap, at a good price. Just know that you get what you pay for.
