Of course these are not the kind of VR glasses that you can use for advanced games, but I didn't pay a few hundred euros. This is a great entry level VR to see what VR can do for you. I didn't read the user manual carefully, but you need to download the Google Cardboard VR app on your smartphone first, and then scan the QR code in the user manual from the app to properly recognize this virtual reality. Then you can download some apps and games from Google Cardboard app and I recommend WITHIN app which is a free VR extension for Cardboard app. WITHIN has multiple movies and places for you to watch and explore with this VR headset and it is very immersive and informative. The VR headset is quite comfortable to wear with a soft area for the eyes and ears. Note that you'll need to connect the 3mm audio jack to your smartphone if you want to listen through the headset's headphones, but I have an iPhone 8 that doesn't have a 3mm audio jack. I couldn't find my adapter, but you can still hear sound through your phone's speaker. I was able to pair the controller with Bluetooth on my smartphone, but I still haven't found a game or application that works with the controller. I wish there was more information in the user guide on some of the apps and games that work with this headset, particularly the bluetooth controller. Overall, I am very happy with this entry-level VR headset and my kids also enjoyed exploring different parts of the world using this VR headset and the WITHIN app. Highly recommended!
