The length of the strap seemed sufficient and reliable to me. I wanted to wear it on my forearm so I could see the screen while cycling. My forearm is 8 inches in diameter and my (weak biceps) are 12 inches. i am quite old You need a third hand to tighten the straps; I haven't tried teeth. About 2 inches sticks out on my forearm. The quality of the product is good. Some people might like a separate big compartment to put everything - for me it's useless. I use both Xs (swipe) and SE (button, smaller than Xs). Both work well, but I'm not sure I can make the right choice (on tiny vertical keyboards). I'm only interested in monitoring my performance and location on the bike.
