Essentially an acrylic tube with two molded pieces of silicone inside. I'd been hoping for almost a year someone else would come up with something similar at a reasonable price. I ordered it because of the limited space for working with watercolor and because it practically does not shed. I love that it holds my brushes securely while drying. My ONLY issue with this product is that it's about 3x more expensive than it should be for being the only game in town. Cheap materials and production China. I like the product but I would suggest waiting for someone not keen on developing a similar product if you can. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're desperate like me or have money to burn.
