Review on πŸ• eTradewinds eT-23 Stainless Steel Elegant Digital Kitchen Timer: Strong Magnetic Back, Loud Alarm, Large Display, Auto Memory, Auto Shut-Off by David Bone

Ignore the complaints, it does everything it says on the tin.

. For example, many have complained that they have to press the button once for every minute it takes (ie 60 times in 60 minutes). Not this timer. If you keep pressed, the value will increase very quickly to the desired value. People can't count either. All functions are clearly described in the manual, which must be read. My only complaint is that it's very easy to scroll through the time you want and the only way to fix it is to clear/reset it to zero and do it again. The best way to avoid this problem is to hold and release the button a few time units before the desired time, then press the button digit by digit to the end. The call works within a minute and is quite loud and sharp at the maximum level. This is best used when you are in another room. The low setting isn't distracting and is best used when you're near a timer. The magnet holds very well but is easy to remove. I ran the count function along with the stopwatch on my very expensive and supposedly accurate phone and the times matched. I took off a star for "ease of use" because the instructions require reading and the only way to fix the desired timeout is to delete/reset and start over.

Pros
  • . I keep my fingers crossed.
Cons
  • . Many things.
