Review on Idemitsu CVT Type N (NS-2) Transmission Fluid for Nissan - 5 Quart by Ben Robinson

I drained and refilled twice last year. The first time I did it with a gearbox. warmed up, it took all 5 liters, the second time I merged it with a cold gearbox, poured exactly 4 liters and replaced the same amount. Even though our car only has a little over 30,000 miles on it, I decided to do it twice. , changed a total of 9 liters, so we have enough for another 30,000. If you got it the first time, the second time will be an easy 15 minute job. I read Nissan's tech mention to top up cold and replace exactly what is leaking. That way you might not overfill the variator, which I did on the first change and I had to pump it back a bit to let the fluid expand and I backfilled what came out. but it was a bit crowded. Everything went well the second time, the replacement is cold, with no liquid expansion.
