Get rid of that annoying gurgle that air gap reverse osmosis filter faucets make

I just replaced our 15 year old kitchen sink. I wanted something new and more modern than the builder's ivory double shell. I chose a large stainless steel sink with a basin. I added two soap dispensers and a new stainless steel faucet for our reverse osmosis water filter. I had three initial goals for this project. (became 4).What I wanted.1. Just sanitize under the sink (now it's really clogged).2. Combine the reverse osmosis filter waste water with the dishwasher exhaust.3. Eliminate that annoying gurgle that an air gap tap makes.4. Install a more convenient reverse osmosis faucet. So, choosing a single bowl sink will definitely change the world. Since there is no partition, the usable space of the sink is huge. Besides the fact that you only have one drain, it also simplifies the connection. I used a Watts Premier 164020 DLA-D drain line installation adapter so I can connect a dishwasher outlet to an unused side inlet on my Waste King disposal unit. I used this backflow preventer to eliminate any possibility of dirty water from the dishwasher or press getting back into the reverse osmosis system. I will point out that an air gap is required in some places (by code). I personally don't really care. In my situation, the reverse osmosis filter effluent enters the disposal at a very high point and drains more than 10 inches before the trap, leaving more than enough room to troubleshoot problems. This device is really just insurance, and for $10, it's cheap insurance. There were many reasons for doing what I did. First, there is a much wider range of non-air gap faucets out there, and I was able to find a really good stainless steel piece to match my main faucet. Secondly, by choosing a faucet without an air gap, you completely eliminate all noise caused by the air gap, basically the reverse osmosis filter becomes a completely silent device. All in all, this was a great purchase. It works great, is easy to install and is cheap. I hope this review is helpful.
