Steel, silicone, glass. It's pretty much anything I want to touch with my food. Things like plastic and wood are notorious for harboring bacteria. And modern materials (except silicone) are quite a lot of potential problems. In any case, it is difficult to achieve a good seal without rubber and plastic. Most companies don't even try. But this company pulled it off. And they charge a lot of money if you want to use their product. This is premium. Feels high quality in hand. feels strong Deceptively durable. The inner compartment is glass within glass (to isolate the air) so it's likely to be very easy to break when cleaning. The included wand is gentle enough to never break, but it's quite difficult to get a good scrub. It wasn't a problem yet. I have these in 3 sizes and two smaller ones. The carrying bag gives the glass more strength. but not half as strong as a metal thermos. It would be great if they developed a reinforced case that you could put it in for rough handling. REVIEW: I love using it. I hate washing it. Is it expensive. Please craft a mild steel shell to carry it.
