Not for motorcycles, heat is your friend
First I got this for use on a 20 mile electric bike, I would never recommend it for use on a motorcycle. My only issue was that it's almost round, I shrunk it down to just under 8.5 in diameter and held it in place with white velcro. I heated it with a heat gun. It doesn't take much, let cool and "rock your uncle". I like that it fits much better
