Beautiful set of four colored mixing sponges. I like that the sponges are dense because they don't pick up as much liquid makeup. In addition, all blenders are designed with a flat or sloped side, which is great for smooth applications. I personally prefer sponges with flat corners. They are comfortable in my hands, blend well and feel comfortable. These blenders make a great gift for makeup geeks. I also like that the sponges don't smell. I have tried other colored sponges and they smell like pencil shavings or other chemicals but not this one. They are also perfect as Easter basket gifts. At the current price of $6.99, they're $1.75 per sponge, about 0.50 cents more per sponge than some competitors. However, I love these.
