Review on 🎥 Revolutionize Video Production with the Roland V-8HD HD Video Switcher by Blake Clemons

15 years ago this would have been a fantastic toggle, maybe even my choice for small projects thanks to its ease of use and much-requested features often found only in larger production departments. But it wasn't 15 years ago, it's 2020 where 4k is now the de facto standard and PC hardware is now affordable enough that a much better performing 4k solution with 8 HDMI inputs could be had for the same price if you wanted to use a software production switch instead. In fact, a 1080p solution with even more features could be built on a PC for half the price (including the cost of the computer itself). While it's a great device that I can't fault when looking at it in a vacuum. without information on the price or alternative solutions, knowing the price I cannot recommend using it in any production environment.
