Works great! I let my cake cool completely—set actually—before removing it, otherwise it will get too warm and moist to cut and it will just crumble and lose its integrity. I baked a 4-5 inch deep cake and made 4 layers out of it and the leveler did a perfect job, I was damn happy with the end result! My first real cake. wet paper towel.
