Review on DII Pantry Collection Stripe Apron - One Size for a Chic and Functional Cooking Experience by Jessica Moore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Well-made apron; thick fabric, good coverage, strong ties + EZ care and very cute.

Very cute apron, 100% cotton chambray, soft and very comfortable. The fabric is thick enough to provide real protection (looks and feels like worn denim) and is oversized. The waist ties are strong and significantly longer than most of my other aprons, which is a nice feature as many people prefer to tie in the front. The neck strap is wide and goes through eyelets on each side of the bib. One side is anchored and the other has a sliding buckle to adjust the fit. I like the coverage of the high bib so my webbing is pretty close to the shortest possible setting. Some aprons have a rather narrow bib, but this one is wide enough to protect my clothes well. I'm 5'4" tall and the apron fits me just above my knees. The product description says there is a very large pocket on the front but there are actually 3 smaller pockets as seen in the photos. The Pocket in the top left corner is narrow, about 4" x 6" and the other two pockets are a few inches apart, about waist level - they're about 7" x 8" and can easily hold a lot of items. Stitching is straight and even, and the corners are well finished. There is a cute little stain on the lower left corner of the apron which I didn't notice at first. This is a well made apron designed for the business - the material is durable, so it should easily stand up to the daily wear and tear in my kitchen. Easy care, washes well in cold water followed by line drying with little to no shrinkage, won't fade t not out and only needs to be folded, no need to iron. I wear aprons almost every day and this is one of my favorites. Definitely worth the price.
