The hairpins are comfortable, hold tight, hold well. I can wear these clamps for long hours and intense activity without having to adjust them. My hair is waist length but very thin and it's held securely in a bun or ponytail which I like for a different look. The handles are comfortable to hold without sticking out too much and go well with the style of these clips. I like the velvety matte finish, it looks much better than glossy plastic. The design of these clips is very nice - I really like the curved shape. The earthy tones go well with my hair color and clothes and look great dressed up or down. These bobby pins don't scratch or pull on my hair, nor do they hurt me if I lean my head against something while wearing them. They come in a nice box, making them a good gift and a safe place to keep. I have a bad habit of leaving my bobby pins in random places when the box on the bathroom shelf reminds me to put them away lol. I prefer these bobby pins to any other that I have used in a long time. For me there is everything I like and nothing I dislike about these hairpins and I am happy to recommend them to others!
